Adding & Dropping Courses

Students have until the last add/drop day to drop a course.  After the add/drop period has ended, students may only withdraw from a course, receiving a W on their TCNJ transcript and forfeiting any refund. Please see our Dates & Fees page for session add/drop days.

In order to add or drop a course please follow these instructions: Adding and Dropping Courses (PDF).

Please note that Blended Learning, Session S, and Session I courses will need to be dropped in Records and Registration, Green Hall Room 112. Dropping all courses does not constitute withdrawal from the Summer School. If you wish to withdraw entirely, you must also submit your intentions in writing to the Summer Programs Office at summer@tcnj.edu.

If you wish to request a late withdrawal from a course and receive a full refund due to extenuating circumstances, please review the list of accepted special circumstances in which you may be eligible to drop the course. If your circumstances do not match, you cannot request a late withdrawal for a full refund. If you wish to proceed having a late course withdrawal anyway, you will receive a grade of W, forfeiting any refund.
